[English]

As a cognitive bias, myopia deprives managers from discovering new opportunities. In this regard, managers should avoid it. The purpose of this study is to investigate the relationship between managerial myopia and strategies of small and medium companies in Khozestan province. Owing to this, from functional and analytical essence, this study is a correlational one. Consequently, two types of myopia: temporal myopia and spatial myopia have been investigated. For the purpose of reliability, Cronbach alpha was run. To address the hypotheses of the research hierarchial regression was computed with SPSS software. The results revealed that the bias of senior managers on myopia has a positive relationship with persistence of strategy and strategic conformity of small and medium companies.
