For this purpose, using Oliver framework for strategic responses, a two-part questionnaire produced and its validity was as content validity and determined by scholars, and its reliability calculated by Cronbach’s alpha coefiicient. 165 questionnaires were distributed among active companies’ managers and owners, and then 77 questionnaires collected. Therefore, the hypothesis tested by regression and correlation tests by SPSS software. The findings indicate that Oliver’s Model is relatively consistent with food and beverage industry and in this area; it partly describes the companies’ behaviors to institutional pressures.
