The decisions that the parent company makes regarding the choice of parenting methods are one of the key issues in the holding level strategy. Existence of environmental uncertainties and weakness in quick and accurate decisions have caused problems in choosing the parent methods of holdings. In this work, we use an intelligent model based on the neural-fuzzy approach aiming at a desired decision-making and reducing the uncertainty in choosing the parent methods in mineral holdings.Modelling of the indices is accomplished by the Matlab software, and the model computation is done by the root mean square error for the test data and train data. The case study (Shahab-sang holding) findings show that by using the intelligent model, the proposed strategies include more accuracy, which lead to a lower uncertainty and more speed in choosing the parent methods. Also the test result indicates the validity of all the extracted strategies.Also, according to the model output, the parent method in this holding for mining areas of copper ore, decorative stones and limestone is strategic planning method, for mining areas of gold extraction, carcass stone and pumice, financial control method and finally for mining areas Iron ore, coal, lead and zinc ore and sand have been proposed as strategic control methods.
