Benefits of Export Management Co.'s in Developing Exports of SMEs as Export Development Strategies

Abstract

Small & Medium size enterprises due to their constrains are not able to manage their financial & informational resources which is necessary for handling their international business activities. Therefore, the best way which these units can enter the international market and increase their exports are to benefit, at least in the beginning, from the services of export intermediaries.Although, export intermediaries are called differently by various countries, but they are presenting almost the same services which are of two types:
1- Services regarding identification of needs and creating demand
2- Services regarding demand processing and responding to it.
This study first presents internationalizing theories of SMEs, and then describes the informational needs of these units, in the way of internationalizing at various levels. Then, from one side the problems and obstacles which SMEs are facing in the field of export activities management have been mentioned, and from the other side, investigating the implimentation of Export Management Co.s impacts on the Export Promotion Programs of SMEs in Bousher Province,
This descriptive and non-experimental research study gathered data by questionnaire from selected SMEs in Bousher Province. After conducting statistical analysis it has come to the conclusion that Export Management Co.s can develop the export of SMEs in the province.
