The Entrepreneurial Competencies, Innovation and Performance of Knowledge-base Enterprises

Abstract

The performance of a company depends on many factors such as innovation in the enterprise, exist specific interpersonal skills in individuals of the company. These agents communicate with eachother, affect the performance of a company directly or indirectly. Many opinions have been put on entrepreneurial competencies. Entrepreneurial competencies engaging managers in various roles, including roles as of entrepreneurial, managerial and functional .This study deals with investigating the impact of the entrepreneurial competencies on innovation and performance and in terms of type, a descriptive – correlation research  and  in terms of  purpose is an applied research. The Statistical population  this  research are  all manager of knowledge-based firms settle in Shahid Beheshti and  Tehran Universities that overall 97 questionnaires were collected and their data were analyzed by SPSS software & PLS software. Investigating results this research shows that entrepreneurial competencies have significant impact on innovation and performance of knowledge-based firms.
